COURTNEY ANDERSON - CHILDREN'S PASTOR

Courtney loves being outside in the fresh air of the Pacific Northwest, hiking, camping or relaxing in a hammock.  She and her husband Carl are lovers of board games and video games, socializing and spending time with family or friends.  Married in 2017 after 4 years of long distance they now have a daughter, Danielle, and son, Teddy.  Courtney’s been a youth leader for most of her life and is passionate about sharing Jesus with children and working with leaders to empower kids to take control of their own faith.  Click here to contact Courtney.

Noah fultz - youth pastor

Noah Fultz married Ashley in 2019 and have a beautiful daughter, Evelyn. Before joining Eastpark, Noah served in kids ministry for four years, and now serves the youth and young adults in Vancouver. In his free time, Noah enjoys going on walks with his wife and daughter, playing soccer (sports in general), drumming, and writing. His favorite band is Citizens, and loves instrumental music of any kind. Noah’s passionate about seeing people living with Jesus and sharing His life with their whole being. Jia Liu - Elder

I’m a first-generation immigrant- born in Taiwan and immigrated to the United States when I was 9 years old in the 1970s.  I’m a pharmaceutical/biotech research scientist. The Lord has helped me at my work- providing guidance to solve problems and blessed the work of my hands.   God has blessed me with a faithful wife and three children. peyton ritchie - worship pastor

Peyton grew up with a passion for singing but it wasn’t until 2023 where she realized her gift was from the Lord and for the Lord. Though she doesn’t come from a musical background, God has written a beautiful story by bringing her together with her husband, Micah, an incredible drummer whom she married in March of 2025. The two met while serving on their previous church’s worship team and now share a deep calling to pour out in worship ministry together. Peyton loves helping people encounter the same freedom she’s found, in a heart completely surrendered to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.   Click here to contact Peyton.

Neil Salstrom - lead elder

Neil was born in Redmond, WA, and moved to Vancouver in 1997. He graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Materials Science Engineering. Neil’s been part of Eastpark since it began in 1997—it’s where he met his wife Beth. He has two sons, and two dogs. Neil has served previously as an Elder, from 2015–2021. When not traveling internationally for work, Neil can be found drinking coffee, playing board games with family and friends, or outside in our amazing Pacific Northwest. Click here to contact Neil.

Kim Lawson - Teaching coordinator

Kim’s been married to Dave for 31 years and has 3 children and one grandchild. She serves on the Teaching and Leadership Teams, District assessment teams, and is passionate about mentoring others to heal and grow in their calling. Kim enjoys nature, traveling, painting, and is a self-confessed coffee snob with a firm belief that New Zealand does the best flat whites in the world, and that peanut butter and chocolate should never go together! Brian herboth - ELDER

Brian’s been married to Dana since 2002 and have three teenage daughters.  Brian’s a general contractor and enjoys helping those in need.  He loves camping with his family and quiet evenings with his wife and girls.  Brian’s into soccer and likes watching his girls play it too, and spends his free time playing games and listening to pod casts on faith, science, and history. Click here to contact Brian.

chris totland - leadership

Chris and Mike have been married for 20 years and have 4 children and 3 children-in-law. Chris leads our Leadership Development, among other things. Her number 1 hobby is being Mom to those she gave birth to—and to anyone who crosses her path. Her side hustle is doing floral designs for events with Mike. When asked her favorite food Chris’ response is: ‘I can always eat, and the more unique, the more I’m interested! Click here to contact Chris.

Kip Gallienne - Pastoral Care

Kip was born, raised, and spent most of his life in Southern California. He’s followed Jesus for over 50 years, serving in various volunteer roles. In 1996, God called him to full-time ministry, primarily pastoral care and counseling, later becoming a psychologist serving in the California Correctional System until his retirement in 2019. He moved to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to his son, daughter, and four grandchildren. A “perfect” day is kayaking with his family, enjoying cheese enchiladas, and listening to slow instrumental blues. God led him to Eastpark in late 2023, and he says it’s a privilege to serve with so many who deeply love Jesus. Click here to contact Kip.

Vince HArmsen - ELDER

After 39 years of marriage Vince and Brenda have two sons, a daughter in law and three amazing granddaughters. This is Vince’s second rodeo—he served as an elder from 2004–2011 and since then has been involved in Life Groups, men’s groups, and in Children’s Ministry with Brenda. Vince enjoys golf and racquetball, and playing cards with friends. He loves good music from the 60’s and 70’s and road trips with Brenda. Click here to contact Vince.

LOIS ZIRBEL - administrator

Lois has been married to Randy for 30 years and has 4 adult children and two Great Danes. She’s passionate about mentoring women to heal and grow in their faith. Lois enjoys sunshine, traveling, and is a staunch basketball enthusiast. She’s happiest when she’s enjoying warm weather with her two Danes, Husker and Osborne! Click here to contact Lois.

ANDY plassmeyer - Elder

Andy grew up in Westphalia, Missouri, the youngest of seven kids. After college he joined the Army and served in Germany and Iraq before settling in Vancouver in 2006. He continues to serve in the Army Reserve while raising his three boys and three dogs. Andy has been involved with Children’s Ministry, Men’s Ministry, Life groups and the Friday morning Men’s Bible Study since coming to Eastpark in 2016. In his free time he enjoys camping, fishing, waterfowl hunting, nature photography, trips to the dog park–pretty much anything outdoors! Click here to contact Andy.

Greg Kvistad - international mission

Greg was born and raised on a family farm in rural Echo, MN. He was a student athlete (football) at South Dakota State University where he received a degree in Agricultural Business, and later earned an MBA at WSU. Greg moved to the PNW in 2000 where he met his wife Melanie, they have 3 kids Carson, Savannah and MacKenna. An Eastpark member since 2004, he previously served 2 terms as an elder and has had various roles with the men’s, youth, and children’s ministry. Greg’s had the opportunity to travel globally during his career and is passionate about growing our International Missions scope and impact. Click here to contact Greg.

David Lawson - Lead pastor/elder

Dave has been married to Kim for 31 years and they have 3 children and one grandchild. After a background in architecture, Dave was a youth pastor for 5 years before becoming a lead pastor for the past 28 years. He considers the 80’s to be the pinnacle of human development, especially in the fields of fashion and music, and loves sport, time with his family, and singing loudly to power ballads. Dave’s passionate about making Biblical truth accessible, and developing leaders to fulfill the mission of the church. Click here to contact Dave.

Hello Thrive Family

We have some great things planned for this fall season. On September 23rd get ready for our first ever Lego Masters event Thrive style. For those who haven’t seen the show we are going to group up and have a friendly competition to see what we can build with 20 minutes of design time and 30 minutes of building time.

We are finishing up our Bible study series on Compassion by the beginning of October. Our next series will focus on how we learn to grow more dependent on God as we continue to walk in faith.

In October we will have a fun pumpkin “carving” contest on October 28th. All materials will be provided for you. Please come prepared to get messy.

In November we will be planning a Thrivesgiving. A Thanksgiving get together for our Thrive family. Details to follow.

Some of you have mentioned a bowling night. I am still working on final plans for this but will let you know when we can find a night that works with enough free bowling lanes and a reduced cost. I’ll keep you updated.
